The SWMP Program at OMSAR aims at improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Waste Management. The action will directly address the medium and longer term needs of Lebanese communities affected by the high concentration of Syrian refugees for increased and improved waste disposal services, by building and upgrading Solid waste management infrastructure and equipment at local level and by enhancing the overall management capacity of local administrations i.e. Municipalities in the solid waste management sector.
